Every card in a client’s portfolio is evaluated across four dimensions. The output is a single, thesis-driven score.

1.  Set Context

The set a card comes from is to sports cards what location is to real estate. The same player in a lesser set is a fundamentally different asset. Set Context scores the historical significance, collector demand, and long-term relevance of the specific product.

2.  Player Permanence

Not all great players have lasting collector demand. Player Permanence evaluates the player’s legacy trajectory, cross-sport cultural footprint, and the durability of collector interest over a 5–10 year horizon — not just today’s market sentiment.

3.  Parallel Hierarchy

Every card exists within a hierarchy of parallels, variations, and population counts. Parallel Hierarchy scores where a specific card sits within that ladder — whether it’s a ceiling asset or a mid-tier holding with limited upside.

4.  Speculation Risk

Some cards are priced on narrative. Speculation Risk measures how much of a card’s current value is driven by hype, recency bias, or unproven career trajectory versus durable, fundamentals-backed demand.
