Brent Weyer has been obsessed with sports cards since he was a kid, setting up card stands in the cul-de-sac. That instinct for value never left him.

He holds a finance degree from the University of Oregon, spent over a decade in high-level medical device sales for Johnson & Johnson, Boston Scientific, and Intuitive Surgical — one of the most credibility-driven sales disciplines in the world — and has completed seven years of study in psychology and human behavior, which he applies directly to how collectors make decisions and how card markets move.

Before founding WeyerSports, he served as Director at Fanatics Collect and Fanatics Live, managing high-value client relationships and overseeing six-figure transactions at the highest level of the hobby.

He built the Weyer Alpha Framework™ to bring the same analytical rigor to sports cards that institutional investors apply to any alternative asset class. Every card in a client’s portfolio receives an APEX Score™ — a thesis-driven assessment, not a guess.

He works with a small, select client base. Most clients come by referral.
